Injuries

My favorite running buddy is out of commission this week. Doesn't he look pathetic? We're not exactly sure, but we think that he stepped on something/got stung on his foot. Poor guy.

As for avoiding injuries while training - I recommend getting good running shoes that are fit to your foot at a good running shoe store. They may cost a little more than what's on sale at the local sporting goods store, but it's totally worth it.

Sister - what kind of shoes do you run in? I'm a Brooks girl. Although I have been alternating with some new K-Swiss shoes which I'm loving as well.

4 miles in the AM...

  2. Hi, this is the only way I found to contact you...but I wanted to answer your question about the block on my blog you asked about. :) That block is called a spiderweb block, when sewn together they make spiderweb looking blocks. You can do a google search for spiderweb block tutorials, or I believe there is one at quiltville.com , Happy Holidays and thanks for stopping by! -Allison
